3. Organizing Your Files

Please create one folder per project and use a descriptive folder name. These folder names help us internally track projects, production, quoting, invoicing, and publishing.

We want this process to be as simple as possible. Most Partners upload directly from their phones, although uploading from a computer is often easier for organizing larger projects.

Important: Surface Care PROS will email you your personal ShareFile upload link. Please use that link to upload your case study files.

Option 1 – Uploading From Your Phone

This is the most common option and works well for smaller projects or when your photos and videos are already on your phone.

  1. Open the ShareFile link that SCP emails to you.
  2. If prompted, open the link in your browser or the ShareFile app.
  3. Locate your CASE STUDIES TO DO folder.
  4. Create a new folder for the project.
  5. Name the folder something descriptive.
  6. Upload your photos, videos, and notes directly into the folder.
  7. Wait for uploads to fully complete before closing your browser or app.

Phone upload tip: Downloading the ShareFile mobile app can make future uploads easier, especially if you submit projects regularly.

Option 2 – Uploading From a Computer

Uploading from a computer is often easier when you have many photos or videos to organize.

  1. Open the ShareFile link SCP emailed to you.
  2. Locate your CASE STUDIES TO DO folder.
  3. Create a new project folder.
  4. Drag and drop your photos, videos, and notes into the folder.
  5. Allow all files to finish uploading before closing the window.

Please avoid texting images to SCP staff whenever possible. Uploading directly to ShareFile helps preserve image quality and keeps everything organized in one place.

As your project moves through production, SCP may move the folder between workflow stages.
