CoP Discussion Group Instructions and Guidelines

CoP Discussion Group Instructions and Guidelines

Welcome

Welcome to the CoP Discussion Group! This resource allows PRO Partners to easily discuss relevant topics, troubleshoot issues, and share technical advice with peers and advisers—all directly through your email, with no forum logins required.

Getting Started & Sign-Up

  • Registration: Your Partner Manager will sign you up using your name and preferred email address.
  • Adding Team Members: If you need additional technicians or staff from your company added to the group, please notify your Partner Manager.
  • Participation: Once registered, you will begin receiving group messages and can start submitting replies or initiating new discussion threads immediately.

Important Rules & Posting Instructions

  • Use Your Registered Email: You must send messages from your registered email account, or your submissions will be lost. (Tip: When you send your first message, check your inbox to ensure it appears correctly.)
  • Group Email Address: Address all group messages and new questions to:
    sccpartners@stoneandtilepros.simplelists.com
  • Anonymous Posting: If you need to present a question anonymously, contact your Partner Manager to post it on your behalf.
  • Replying Carefully:
Caution: Hitting REPLY sends your message to the entire group. If you wish to reply privately to an individual, copy their personal email address and compose a separate message.

Managing Email Delivery & Archives

Accessing Archives

You can search previous threads at any time via the discussion group link found at the bottom of every email:

Email Digest Option

If you prefer not to receive individual emails as they are posted, you can request the Digest version. This condenses the day's activity into a single summary email delivered once per day.

To enable the Digest version, please contact your Partner Manager.

Community Guidelines

To maintain a valuable and high-quality environment for all members, please adhere to the following:

  1. Stay On Topic: Keep discussions relevant to the active thread. To start a new topic, compose a brand-new email to sccpartners@stoneandtilepros.simplelists.com.
  2. Keep It Internal: Do not forward questions or answers to individuals outside our network.
  3. Maintain Professionalism:
    • No Direct Selling or Lead Referral: Do not use the group as a sales platform or for referring leads. However, recommending a specific product as a solution to a problem being discussed is welcomed.
    • Be Respectful: Never get personal, attack anyone, or criticize another member’s contribution.
  4. Value Diverse Perspectives: Not everyone will agree on the best techniques or products. Treat this group as a privilege to collaborate with top stone and tile professionals and benefit from our collective expertise.
